    Dyno read-out

    Just had the PCIII installed and full service and dyno tune:

    Loving the results:
    K&N Filter
    Leo vince exhaust
    and the PCIII

    Max Power - 128.89 @ 13,000RPM
    Max Torque - 56.89
    31.93*C
    26% HUMIDITY

    Was running really rich but all is good now.....

    SO SMOOTH, SO CRISP.....

    mmmm.....its love...

    it showed 299 on my speedo but was in reality not even close about 270-275ish...as per dyno readout

    no spun the 270's was highlighting my speedo was way off

    but thats not unusual mine says 270 on southern motorway and the gps (which I taped to my arm!) says 255

    I thought in general speedos were accurate at 88mph and can be 15% out the further away from that you get

    No, in general speedos are optomistic by anywhere from 3% to 10% (generally about 6) all the way across the range. Most modern speedos are electronic, and work from a pulse generator. There's no reason for their accuracy to vary at different speeds, although they may well be less accurate at very low speeds.
    My speedo is pretty much right (not that it matters, as each 10km/h mark is only a poofteenth of an doohickey away from the ones either side). However, my odometer now reads 12% less than actual mileage.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.


    Or maybe not...
