and BTW...my so called gsxr812 superbike monster...has just finnished being tuned and it makes a rather pathetic 120hp same dyno same day a pretty well stock gsxr1000 made 150...which makes me wonder what really is under my engine casings...a full strip down after the last round might prove interesting!

As an aside, the higher in the rev range that an engine develops peak torque the better for when you are giving it shit.

Commuting or cruising it's nicer to have the torque lower down.

The higher in the rev range that an engine develops torque, the more power you get for any given torque figure, so yep.

Save me searching for bad shit, what they saying?

Given the manufacturer claims 150 at the crank I would have expected to loose 15 to the wheel which would be 135. Allowing for the usual loss that occurs between the factory and the customer 128 for the base run seems within the realms of possibility.
It certainly has gained in power but more importantly the snatch in the throttle has now gone.

Well as we know, dyno tuning a bike is a waste.
But hey I'm happy wasting my time and money anyway.
Even happier with the 10hp gain.

Added a DNA air filter and Yoshimura TRC slip on. The slip on comes with a mid pipe that does away with the EXUP valve, hence a little loss in power below 4,000 rpm.

but if it pulls harder it cums faster... or something like that...
