That icecream in Waimarama was especially good today. Sorry youse fellas missed it....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

It is sooo long since I last had an icecream in a cone.....brings back childhood memories, that does.

Hell Speights_Bud you get up early. Go that man.

After the ride to Wairoa yesterday I am wondering why I want to change . I think the Gixxer might be safe in my shed for another few months if not years. Lets see how I feel after our day trip to Hamilton today.

Yes 6 hours of Gixxer sex coming my way. starting in a hours time. I love this planet

Cheers all. Get outa da house and wear out some rubber...... Like MSTRS and TART seem to have done yesterday.

Childhood? WOW!! You got a really really good memory...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

I was up your way yesterday had a bit of a late ride, got as far as Kereru and found my bike went onto reserve, so turned around and rode slowly home. I thought I'd recently filled her up unless one of the kids needed some fuel for their lawn mower.

Well what a weekend of riding I have had

Friday HXC and I did a day trip to Wellington - 680km
We were on the road at 5am and I didn't go to bed until 2am the next morning
Saturday I did a 350km loop down the coast to Porangahau and Dannevirke with our visitors from Germany and France
Today - 100km loop to Tutira and back Darkys Spur

Not to mention the multinational dinners over the past 3 days

We had Anja and Holger from Germany stay with us on there round the world trip on motorcycles.
And then Christian from France arrived on Friday night with his motorcycle, and then we have 2 Norwegians here with us too
We had MSTRS and YT and HXC around for a few dinners and to say hello and thanks to MSTRS for repairing their panniers

    Cheers

Yeh, it has been a rather motorcycle-filled weekend for me too.
Nowhere near as much as you, Scott, but it's still a shitload more than I have done in eons. It was a wicked trip to Wellington on Friday. And Waimarama for ice cream yesterday was superb. A couple of dodgy corners due to melted tar and loose chip, but other than that, it was a primo ride.

If only I had the money to do even more. Wonder if I can click over another 500k's before the 28th. That'd take the clock up to 20,000ks before our big road trip.

    Shhhhhh.
Christmas presents for people (mainly girlfriend), petrol for bike, restricted car licence, full bike licence and saving for Belgium.
Too many things that I need money for, and not enough fucking money!

I always have up to 40 litres of petrol here at any time for use for the various vehicles and bikes here and if anyone is low passing thru.
Think I've mentioned it before if anyone is low pop in for a top up.
