Ben Townley, injury status?

Can anyone in the know confirm Ben's injury status and if he is going to make the SX season or not? There a rumours going around that he will not be riding until the outdoors season starts in May!

I've seen a few websites that say he's buggered his ankle and will be out for the SX season http://www.mxlarge.com/ and others.

broken foot (with out coming off bike) will be lucky to make east coast super x series,

jsut landed off a jump wrong i think, he did not fall off, bok,e a bone in his heal quite badley

Brent Turnbull (top manawatu rider, havent seen him back on the pace since this accident) suffered the same thing, broken heel from casing a jump.

Took a long time to heel (excuse the pun)

Honda Team Manager Eric Kehoe believes that Ben will be ready for the East Lites series. He is resting up over the Xmas period, staying off the bike but working on other fitness aspects.
Lets hope he makes it. This time he will be up agains RV who is riding the East Lites series in 2008.

it all fell apart when he went to honda!!

It seems it falls apart whenever he changes brands, same thing happened when he changed to KTM and again when he changed to Kawasaki.

just read on the ama site that he will be at the briefing tomorow but they
never said if he was racing??

Man i sure hope he makes the first round!!!!
