48-cylinder Kawasaki for sale... a world record breaker

Have a look, it's here on Ebay.
Fun to build but not much fun to ride perhaps?
It holds the record for "Most Cylinders Ever on a Land Vehicle"
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=260196762893

EDIT: it's not a Ducati at all, it's made of Kawasaki bits. On the ebay ad it says it's a Red Dog Ducati, but that;s the name of the motorcycle shop where the guy built it.

Seeing as it is make from Kawasaki S1 parts I guess it should be called anything but a Ducati. Maybe just misrepresented.

    Thank you stanko!

I've never seen it represented as anything other than a collection of Kawasaki parts, in everything from Bike mags to web sites, with the odd newspaper in between. Ducati haven't made two strokes for many, many years.

Oh, I see it is made by the guy who owns "Red Dog Ducati", a motorcycle shop, so maybe that's where the confusion came in.

ridability is so not the point of something like this though.

I love this kind of stuff, though I personally think the 12 cylinder Kawasaki (two KZ1300 inline sixes across the frame stapled together to become a V12) is a cooler thing. Made by a guy in UK called Allen Millyard

    madness!

    Hahaha.

Swap two ignition leads over and watch him pull his hair out trying to find the miss.

Dunno if he'd ever know weather it is running on all of them or not.
