What the F! Is it a bird? Is it a plane?

    Is it Suzuki's new 3-Strom...

    Sorry guys (and gals)...

Just saw this on the motorway yesterday, had to post.. Its a V-strom DL1000 with an extra back wheel...! saw the lights coming up in my rear view mirror and thought he was towing a trailer... upon closer inspection, it was a completely modified DL1000.... Im impressed..

Somone has gotta know this dude, bloody good effort for conversion..

And yes, this maybe a little off topic, but theres no such site as kiwiTriker.. (though there is a kiwitrikers..doh).

    Happy new year everyone.!

So it's like a sidecar more than a trike?

There are some pretty innovative machines out there!

The good thing is that they can help our buddies who can no longer manage two wheels to get back into biking.

I wasn't just meaning old farts like me but those who have been critically injured and incapacitated and prevented from enjoying motorcycles in the usual way.

So you say that that one only had an extra outrigger wheel rather than being the usual trike!

Can you find out more or was it, as you said, just passing? Cheers John.

Yes indeed, but do they have to be so ugly? Trikes are ugly, but a bike with a sidecar is not so much ugly, and more interesting. Not to mention cheaper. I guess you'd have a job attaching a sidecar to a lot of modern bikes though.
I vow that when I get too unbalanced or fragile to ride, I'll get a sidecar, not a trike. Shoot me if I get a trike.

It's hideous. I wish trike riders wouldn't insist that their perverted abomination is in fact a motorcycle.

It's a car with handlebars and no crash protection.

I've never really seen the point in either. Why have a bike if it doesn't lean, and takes the same road width as a car? I'd rather get an Ariel Atom, or perhaps a Chevron kit car. More stable, and you don't need a helmet.
