    Motorcycle repair and maintenance course

    Just got the got the latest west Auckland community education booklet for 2008 and noticed there will be a new course running this year so thought I would post up the details. Could be a good course for those new to bikes.

    Easyrider-Motorcycle repair and maintenance

    Syrocketing fuel cost and increasing road congestion make the motorcycle an economic and efficient alternative to running a car. Learn correct cleaning procedures, routine maintenance and basic repairs.

    Rutherford College
    Monday nights for 3 weeks 6:30- 8:00
    First course starts 12th May, next course 29th October
    Cost- $50+

    Would probably be useful, not sure , what do others think. Anyone done it before ?

    That sounds really handy...and not very expensive either.

    Heh I think not. I get about 200KM to a $20 tank on my CBR. I doubt that's economical

    Thats pretty cheap.

    I get about 400-450 ks to a $80 tank around town in my corolla wagon. I don't usually drive it though.

    My RZ350 will use about the same amount of fuel. So your CBR is pretty cheapo.
