    Haywards/Paekakariki Hill/Pauatahanui Inlet

Good ride last night, about 3 hours worth. Not much traffic round the inlet, but some gravel and fallen rocks on Pie Cock Hill after the rain. Gravel on corners gives me the shits.

Anyone else go for a decent ride last night?

Some pics from Pie Cock Hill lookout...

Do it. Gassit Girl and I often go riding together, we had a blast on my road trip to Quasi in Hamihole for midget leathers (currently in production).

Shame about the disco lights. Ahem.

Not as decent as that..only 30km actually and on a wee gutless single lung wonder...but I enjoyed it all the same. Went round eastbourne was beautiful - woulda been good to have someone to follow along behind...pity you got stuck at work.

Noice. Road was dry by the time I rode over last night. The gravel bits were pooey on the descent to Pie Cock but it was still a good ride over and back. Traffic was really light and had almost evaporated after 7:30.

Plimmerton round-a-bout is such a good one, heh

The one thing that has irked me most on that hill is another biker, with pillion, rounding a blind corner in the middle of my lane.

    He shoulda known better, grrrrr
