    Lad interested in mx bikes

Hi All, My 7year old lad would like to have an MX bike, now i would personally like him to have a go on one first before we splash out on buying one and all the associated safety gear. So i was wondering if there is anywhere in the Greater Wellington area where i could take him, and he could borrow some gear and have a ride on a bike i guess upto 80cc.

I would just like to make sure he doesnt scare himself and decided he never wants to ride a bike again.

    Cheers

    Andy

go into your local honda shop, ask about the honda riders club days.
or go into any decent motorbike shop and tell them the situation and they should give you one of the demo bikes to take out for your lad to have a go on.

oh and an afterthought. if he's the sort of kid that gets scared and gives up...... maybe motox is not for him. might be better to get him into trail riding on a ttr125 drz125 ect (depending how tall he is)

Thanks for the replies, i'll go and see a couple of dealers during lunchtimes this week and see what can be done.

Trail riding might be more his style than the hurly burly of MX track but i want him to try a bike first and go from there.

    But cheers

    Andy
