Free coffee! Hah, knowing Pat she'd probably turn out coffee, tea and milo and then do a meal for all while Bruce would open the bar and ensure all requiring it were well lubricated. (They used to own the Top Hut Bar and Woolpack Bistro in Twizel so hospitality is their game).

    Hi Phill here

When you go past the Diamond Harbour Fire Station, can you give me a toot, dont stop just toot, and i will come out and join you? I will however keep an eye out at about 7;15 for a group of motorcycles going past.

Also the road from Port Levy to Pigeon Bay is not sealed.

    Visitor?

Could be up your way between the Woodstock and Vincent rallies, any chance we could come along on your weekly ride if we ARE in the area??

Absolutely. I don't think we've had a Harley on one of our cruises yet, and a bit of diversity never hurts when you're at your destination chin-wagging

Besides, then we could claim we've had a Police escort!

There's enough people on the ride generally that if we all came and helped you'd be done in time to ride!

Hi Phill, will be good to see you.

I'm thinking about going as far as Purau and turning back from there. Did you hear that there could be free coffee on ...

    Ok, so the plan is:

Head out to Diamond Harbour. We'll re-group at Godley House and those wishing to continue will head on round to Port Levy and then head back to Godley house for a drink and some food.

The only question is: which route will we take to get there?
A little birdy told me he wanted to go over Dyers Pass so I guess it's between that and Evans Pass via Sumner...

If everything goes according to plan,Mrs Oakie and I will be coming on this ride so if you see a couple of black Hondas lingering shyly in the carpark, that'll be us. We'll pop in and visit our friends at Purau Bay and then hopefully catch up with the group somewhere for the run home.
