is it still restricted to 30kph?
Is a good day out there, looking nice for an evening ride.
I'm ignoring the wind or what ever it is making the trees wave about outside the window.
It always looks worse than it is... almost always.

Interesting wee jaunt around the bays
Left BK in rather dreary looking conditions with the Nor-easter blowing cloud in over the Port Hills.
1st re-group was in Sumner at the base of Evan's Pass Rd then off over to Lyttleton for a 2nd gathering of troops with the pleasant sight of broken cloud & Sun shining down on the eastern side of the Harbour.
Everyone settled into an indian file around the bays through to Diamond Harbour and Godley House for a chat, food, and liquids
Sat around yarning till about 9ish then all departed, think some headed over to Port Levy and some back to town. I headed homewards turning off at the Wheatsheaf with Bent51 following for a quick wee strop over Gebbiesaround the flat, parting company at Tai Tapu.
One wee victim of the evenings ride
got a bloody great hole in my R/H side headlight bugger!
couple of pics
1) Part of the group rolling through Charteris Bay
2) Laid back at Godley House
Very good ride tonight.
Port Levy was awesome.
T.W.R
did you snap one as i went passed? the wee silver FXR, last in the cue?
*sigh* here goes.
I had a spill on the way home, first corner coming down dyers pass, for some reason I became on the outside of the corner (this is what I'll be racking my brains over) hit the gravel and either tried to get out and lost it, or just lost it, bike as falling hit one of the barrier posts which flicked the bike around, I went low side, clear of the bike, rolled, straight up on to my feet.
I'm fine, bruise on my hip, had a swear (sorry 'bout that) and a spit.
thanks to everyone who helped, the torch, the screwdriver, the phone call, the ride back up the hill, and thanks to carl for the van.
fxr needs new forks (or existing ones straightened) and a new right hand peg.
except for that the ride was awesome, going out to port levy added something new, deviant had a bird skim his helmet which was quite funny (it landed then flew away as i approached it), lemans I told him about the bird you hit.
btw I wanna go looking for that Japanese sub.
