No prob if I'm getting something I need.
I'm gun shy from the system 7 days and not fixing what doesn't need to be.
I worked for an Apple Center in the 90s doing onsite support for printerys and studios.
the don't fix it if it ain't broke mentality is leftover.
I switched the virtual memory off on a working Quadra - at a badge makers once, 'here - this will speed you up even more' - and spent 5 hours on the rebuild.
I already have a backup protocol - what's better in the new one?

I just connected my printer to router and bobs your uncle, fannies your aunt...
Oh and thats what 'boot camp' is for  I still use windows to play games and the odd app the is windows only. I never store or use windows for any documents or doing anything I actually need or want to keep....![]()
It's not for everyone but such an awesome bit of programming genius should get more and more peoples attention....

Seems pretty damn good, windows runs as fine as anything for gaming or whatever so no problems with speed there. I dunno half of what it can do lol windows is the only reason I enjoy it due to non-mac programs/gamies.
geez that was .. no mucking about eh?
no changes in entourage that I can see .. 'cept its native now
iWork is actually useful now that "numbers" has appeared (stupid bosses sending me stupid excel stupid spreadsheets)
I fully use spaces, I missed my multi desktops from my *nix days ... glad to have it back.
I love Leopard. Very nice upgrade and worth the money. Freehand works a charm, but InDesign still has issues (not hiding, not showing, occassionally quitting apparently but not on me).
I don't use a lot of the features: Spaces (I have multiple monitors so less utility for me), Time Machine (I use Retrospect), but I do like web snippets for cartoons. And one day I'll use the stationery to send an email...
Other than that, nice smooth upgrade. Oh, that's on a couple of Mac Pros BTW.
