We couldnt be arsed with Friday practice, Hell, the track still goes the same way from what we heard.
Saturday, we rolled up late, dropped the sidecar out of the trailer, kicked the tyres & threw on some 18 year old leathers & went out & broke the lap record in 5 laps of qualifying.
Sat on our arses smoking & laughing about the LCR faggots messing around with their slow tedious money pits across the driveway from us, & skipped second qual.
Went out in the first race & KICKED EVERYONE ELSES LAME ASSES!!! Came back in & had another ciggie & more giggles about the LCR's, loaded up & buggered off.
Sunday, Late again, Went out & KICKED EVERYONE ELSES LAME ASSES again in two races, & re broke the lap record 3 more times.
Took a south island shearer for a go on the side afterwards & he had a bloody ball!!
Went to prizegiving, had a few jars, took the piss some more & buggered off back to Christchurch to catch the ferry the next day.

Just as a fish does not respect how much you paid for the fishing rod, But is caught by the skill & cunning of the fisherman, the track does not respect how much you paid for the sidecar.

Funny how people make a deal about CC ratings for an unfair advantage..... but the rule book also mentions heaps of other allowances also. Such as lengths, widths, offsets etc......Is it true you needed a 1300 cc engine to beat all those little 1000cc outfits?
Should we have a minimum weight rule imposed??? How about bringing all the professionally built european LCR's up to our sidecar weight of 285 kgs?
I would happily go to a 1000cc engine then dude!!
