many learners have different needs, the simple point of this thread was to describe if these bikes will meet thier needs.

    anyways.

you also said a great starter bike, if you stick with the same bike it has to last you 2 years, until you can upgrade.

and screw being stuck on the new ninja for that long.

you would find it's limits too quickly

fine if you want something to goto uni and work and back it's fine.

but out on the open road it doesn't cut it.

riding the GPX for 6 months was bad enough.

    anyways cowboyz.

    your a cock.
Seriously mark, comparing performance between say a gpx 250 and a zxr 250 is pointless... they are almost the same.

Comparing slow with slow. Gay with gay.

but the ENTIRE point is it is NOT about speed. Speed is one aspect of motorcycling and may be surprising to some that there are alot around who couldnt give a flying fuck if their bike can do a quarter in 10 seconds or not. Any modern 250 sport/tourer will do 100k and for alot of people that is enough. Some even enjoy touring at legal pace.

I haven"t read this tread but isn"t a 250 ninja an oxymoron?Ninja's used to be scary and I accept the GPz 600 as a ninja in 1986 or when ever the fuck it was BUT anything smaller since?Nah..fuck off.Never owned a ninja, always wanted one but fuck I think Kawasaki sold out the name./

Actually that I do agree with. It is kind of annoying that saying you have a "ninja" can mean just about anything.

Off the top of my head and see if we can figure out how many models there actually are that are referred to as "ninja"

    Gpx 250
    Gpz 250
    Ex 250
    zxr 250
    zzr 250
    zxr400
    zxr 600
    zxr750
    zx9r
    zx10r
    zx12r
    zx14
    gpz500
    ex500(?)
    gpz(x)?600
    zzr600

years ranging from 1985 to 2008

more? I know there are more.....

In all my years of reading and posting in internet forums I have to say I never felt as sorry for any poster as I feel for SM. My advice for him is to take a break from the internet, preferably a long one, and enjoy what the real world has to offer.

Your first post, SM is poorly informed and prejudiced. Instead of just admitting it and getting on with life you just dig yourself a deeper grave. RIP.

Next time you post a write up on a bike, at least test it yourself first, ok?

i tracked her for a while this evening and its obvious she's no learner, good lines and corner confidence, she'll be roasting along in no time, go Moni

and the "no faster than 80" rule for running it in got real old, real fast...

In the eyes of the shallow members of the public (that can be bothered reading KB).

Including the shallow members of the community.

    The Ashhurst Ninja Turtles.

Leonardo (Blue)(Meanie) Leonardo is courageous, decisive, and a devoted student of martial arts. As a strict adherent to Bushido, he has a very strong sense of honor and justice. He wears a blue mask and wields a pair of ninjaken (literally "ninja sword"), although every incarnation identifies his swords as "katana." He is named after Leonardo Da Vinci.

Raphael (Red)(CowBoyz) The team's anti-social bad boy, Raphael has an aggressive nature and seldom hesitates to throw the first punch. His personality can be alternately fierce and sarcastic. He resents Leonardo at times because of his position of authority. Raphael wears a red mask and wields a pair of sai. He is named after Raphael Sanzio.

Michelangelo (Orange)(Monnie) The easy-going and free-spirited Michelangelo provides much of the comic relief. While he loves to relax, this Turtle also has an adventurous and creative side. He wears an orange mask and wields a pair of nunchaku. He is named after Michelangelo Buonarroti. His name was originally misspelled "Michaelangelo" by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman.

Donatello (Purple)(Mouse) The brilliant scientist, inventor, engineer, and technological genius. He is perhaps the least violent Turtle, preferring to use his intellect to solve conflicts. He wears a purple mask and wields the bo staff. He is named after the sculptor Donatello.

If your heading thru Ashhurst watch out for the Ninja Turtle Gang
