Mum says that Karen and John are coming over in a few weeks for Nana's birthday. Would you be interested in coming over for the party?

Not for all! I took hXc up there today...the place looks so different without 30000 people in it! I even got to drive the car in...sure beats walking carrying all your gear!
It is VERY hot and humid there, folks.

Two of my kids have gone. They are there with a group from Tuaranga.
Looks like a good weekend for it.

I still don't understand, why would you throw up the 'devil horns' at a Christian music festival? Many of the crowd pics i've seen today,
    featured kids giving the old

Well. I'm home, tired. Very tired.
It was an awesome experience, and the guys from all the bands were pretty cool. Jonezetta and Rapture Ruckus were my favourites. Switchfoot were good, but I enjoyed Jonezetta a lot more.

I had 3 and a half hours sleep on Saturday night, followed by a 16hr day yesterday. I think I still need to catch up on sleep.

Thanks for making it an awesome weekend for all the bands and people there guys. It was cool seeing what I helped to achieve. And all the people enjoying themselves out front of mainstage.

it would be OK I guess, except for the compulsory god bothering.

did they crucify anyone this year, or is that only at the Jewish equivalent of paracute?

why is it called parachute anyway?

bet there was heaps of pissed up stray poon there though, right? am i right? huh?

Unlikely, booze, drugs, and skimpy clothing free event.

*AMAZING* signature by the way. Took me a while to remember what song it was from.

isnt parachute a rock festival? if so then OF COURSE there was stray poon and heaps of gettin' the freak on.

I watched that DK's clip in your sig BTW. Try and check out the DK's "Live at the Deaf Club" CD its very good indeed. I suspect that clip was taken from a tape of that show.

Go figure. Only festival that all entrants must abide by a 'moral code'.

    I.E. No drinking
    No Drugs
No mixed gender tents, unless they are married
    No skimpy clothing

    It's no Big Day Out

...wouldn't see the DK's playing there.

    No crucifixions either.
It is called Parachute after one of the headline acts, Parachute Band.
On Friday, 3 people were trespassed from the site for infringing the booze/drugs rule.

HDC...compulsory God bothering? You oughta go to Parachute next year. Saves you from making yourself look stupid with comments like that. If God isn't your thing, there is still plenty of things to do and bands to see (all the bands are Christian, but the majority don't preach during their set at all.)
