I began in the novice group and moved up to medium after a couple of sessions, if you've done a track day before then start in medium; you can move up & down the groups as you see fit.

By the end of the day I was consistently sitting behind a big black betty - but not wanting to pass cos it would've been rude
But god-damn, she looked like a lot of work between turns 2 & 3!

    Ooooh, them's fightin' words, sunshine!

We'll have to have a proper showdown on the next one. My 100hp and 120 newton metres hauling around 100 extra kg and bits of metal that drag everywhere in the corners, versus your 60-ish hp bike that weighs nothing with kickarse brakes and good ground clearance.

I reckon I'll put up a good fight.

What are you riding now, btw? Someone told me a black R1. Not the one that went down in front of me in T1 is it?

Can we do a racing start then too?

Agreed, what the NC gains over Betty in the twisty bits is made up for by the talent disadvantage aboard.

Stopping in the middle of the front straight could be hazardous to our health, but a carefully-timed rolling start would be quite achievable, I'm sure.
