Nah there are too many factors that would make it impractical if at all possible. Not to mention the different spread of weight and the increased pressure on the already small frame from the extra power and vibrations of 7000 more rpm.

The kawasaki 250cc dohc twin is the only motor suitable for a gpx250 frame i'm afraid.

I think your buzz is like mine, I want a 2007 250cc sports bike too.... but in 2009 I'll have a full license and I won't want a 2007 250cc sports bike then

I've learned to appreciate the GPX for what it is, I wish it looked cooler but hey... shes my baby and now the cars gone shes my only mode of transport so I appreciate her even more

sup 2smokegurl, could you do me a favour????? have a look on your rear sprocket and tell me what number it reads, I noticed the other day that mine said 43, as far as I was aware the standard rear sprocket for a gpx250 is 45 teeth.

(This 2 teeth reduction adds 8kph to the top speed)

Just interested to see if 43T was fitted by my dealer or if thats the norm for NZ new models?

Doesn't each Ninja sticker add 8 HP?
