Obviously Rossi is out with injury? I see that Nicky Hayden put in 107 laps in his first day of testing! Unreal.

Also interesting to see no real domination of tyre manufacturer.

I think the factory yamaha team elected not to attend the test. Yeah hayden normally is top of the lap sheets at these tests.

It's surprising the way they do all these pre-season test together. You'd expect each team to be off in their own corner somewhere secretly stripping seconds off their lap times so that they can turn up at the first race and blow everyone away.

Yeah, me too. I guess they do unofficial (private) tests tho?

Yeah they would all have private test facilities at the tracks but I think it is just better to be able to compare to the competition where you are at. Also I'm not sure what bridgestone and michelin would do as far as tyres go for private tests at their own tracks. I doubt they would be willing to get half the factory out for two riders at some track in the middle of nowhere?

Yep K14, that makes sense to me , guess its better to have everyone together as far as tyres go . I'd love to see the pile of used ones after a three day test of all the teams.
Notice De Angelis up there both days, Honda seem to have a good spread of talent ? Gaz.

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

    MotoGP has restrictions on testing.

Hopper is lucky. Fuck highsiding out of turn 1 at Phillip Island. Even in the rain it's a scary fast turn.
