People should know how to ride and know their limits.

If constructive debrief should be done at the end of each ride shouldnt those who feel that attend a newbie ride instead?

The whole point is to just ride, meet up at a pub talk and meet other bikers...

    Ride at your own risk.

There is a big difference between Newbie mistakes - and Testosterone fueled reckless abandon.

My proposal was to generate a non confrontational method in which one could say...

"to the guy who overtook me on the double yellows at the top of the crest, that was fuckin stupid and the oncoming car that had to brake and pull over to the side, scared the shit out of me. But because I didn't want to create a public specticule and ruin the evening for all those who just "want to ride, meet up at a pub talk and meet other bikers...." I let it slip"

My proposal was that the "offending" rider should remain anonymous and the complaint should be made after the "offended" has had time too cool down, all in an attempt to prevent any serious anamousity to arise.

Please tell me how else one is meant to raise any such issue with out stuffing up the night?

And as for "ride at your own risk" I hope that was a PT.

.... back in green and feeling great ....

It happens. No matter how much people debrief etc when the helmet goes on, bike starts up, you're in a different mode, different frame of thinking.
In most cases there is always one on a ride...(I'll put my hand up and say yes I've done it)
Best way to sort it, go up and punch the fucker over. Name and shame why? because people know right from wrong.
The only way to get the message across is in a negative manner..Skidmark is an example, people dont compliment him on his riding, only mention the negative.

Agreed but that's fucken hard to do if you're lying in a ditch somewhere, bounced off a tree, gone through a fence or are left standing on the side of the road waiting for 28 days to get your license back.

If I EVER do something dumb - I want people to point it out. That's what a true friend will do - bugger being popular. The one and only time I've shouted at SkidMark was for exactly that reason - he put his life and the life of a good friend of mine at risk.

Whether I choose to learn from that is over to me. Likewise if anyone EVER does something that puts me or mine at risk... I'll similarly have words.

If a debrief helps then all well and good. What's the downside? And what about those with poor risk assessment? Do I stand back and watch them hurt themselves? No - HELL no. I can't do that in good conscience.

I say as long as people arnt endangering you directly, leave them too it, genoclean will get them eventually or the filth.

The only exception to this, is if your the ride organiser. If you are tell whoever you like off, but still remember at the end of the day, they are public roads and you cant stop d%ckheads using them.

And if yourve got a problem with my riding, tuff luck, ride somewhere else

That's exactly what I meant, I don't care if you pass me doing 200km on the road to Dairy Flat, as long as you don't cut too close to me!

As long as you are respecting my personal space then I'm happy.

I prefer chicks who stroll out of their cars at gas stations in skimpy bikins making me ram the guy in front of me.

Was that from ramming the guy in front of you? You should be more gentle and considerate of others.
