The yamaha looks good. Are they built for big people?

Hi. I am 6f2 and close to 90Kg and I have one I am putting together. More then enuf space for me. There is guys on here who have them. Find one that is close to you and ask if you can have a test. You love her!!

But the Guzzi... If I had $3k spare...

Sounds like the starter ring gear is shot. Big bucks to fix.

What are they like for a large rider?

they have a fairly large frame, should be ideal

A Divvy 600 is about as softcore as a 'properly sized' bike gets. If you can't be sensible on one of those, you can't be sensible on anything.

Started thinking the same... A 750 is a 750. It weighs close to double of a 250. It has much more torque, you take a handful and things happen.

If you are not ready, then you are not ready. Only you will know.

But would hate to have recommended you a bike, you go and buy it, and a week later there is a RIP thread on here...
