Exclamation HELP....Removal of Starter Motor on GPX250

Hey guys, My starter motor is stuffed. My father in Law is an Auto Electrician so am trying to get the starter motor off the bike to send itup to him.

So Far I have removed the power lead to the starter, and the 2 10mm bolts on the right side of the starter motor. It is loosened but wont pop out of the ?gearbox crank cover?. Is there something I am missing? I thought it would be loosen bolts and pull out.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Regards,
    Bren

okay...how do I get it past that then? Do I need to remove carbs to get more leverage in removing starter?

If it turned to shit when y' pulled it when y' were 15, I hope you consulted a good doctor. That's not normal even for a 15 year old.
