A movie about bikes and drugs... it can only go wrong.
Sounds like a lot of fun!

It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)
Remember your humanity, and forget the rest. - Joseph Rotblat
Mebbe when it does come here, it'd be worth making a KB night out of it.
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()

Had a look at what was available about this movie. Will definetley go and see it. But have to admit that I was a fraction disappointed that it seems to be so much about drugs. A drugs movie like others, just bikes thrown in.
Hey, I am not gods best child, very far from it. But after waiting for ages for a good biker movie I was hoping that drugs were not gonna be the focus.
Looks like anything else. If you want it done properly you just have to do it your self...
Freebird was mentioned on KB back when it was being made. It was also featured in the Brit bike mags. It has taken rather longer to get released than I thought and I'd almost given up on it.
Now to track it down...
There is a grey blur, and a green blur. I try to stay on the grey one. - Joey Dunlop
Yeah, looks like a fun movie![]()
Studies have shown that your keyboard and mouse are some of the most germ-ridden devices you own, surpassing even doorknobs and toilet seats...
Eh? You used to be able to (semi-)legally buy them at street markets and headshops in the UK. What's changed in the last five years? Turn my back for half a decade and the country goes to the dogs. More.
And the UK film industry has a record that could charitably be described as 'patchy', in recent years. If it's as good as 'layer cake' it'll be worth a watch, cos 'layer cake' rocked. But if it's like 'blue juice', it'll suck balls.
Plot synopsis of 'blue juice': bunch of middle-aged has-been surfers in denial go on one last road trip. Copious amounts of psychedelic drugs are involved.
Substitute 'bikers' for 'surfers' in that last paragraph and what have you got?
