Congratulations, nice that the tester couldn't fault you on anything

Are you going to keep the Volty?

Thanks for your kind words everyone, it's definitely a good feeling to be a fully fledged biker at last

As for the Volty, I will be holding on to her for quite a long time, I think. She's an excellent, reliable commuter and I ride her over the bridge to work every day. I can also leave her in the car park at work without worrying too much - I would be reluctant to do that if I had a more expensive bike.

My dream bike is one of the new Bonnevilles, but I would need to win lotto before I could afford one so that will have to remain as a dream for now.

Even if I had the Bonnie I would be tempted to keep the Volty as a commuter/run around/loaner bike. I also think I'm too sentimentally attached to ever part with her!

Just noticed this thread. Well done with the full license thingy.
That wee Volty is always welcome to pop down to the Waikato and schoomz up with Kannys.
Gettogether at Kawhia late March, and a parking spot is reserved for you.
(Bonneville for Kanny one day also, but keep it to yourself)

Awesome! Well done. I'm pleased you're another Volty owner who likes the triumphs! Once I get my full (yet to even book my restricted!) I'd love either a Speedmaster or Bonneville America.
