They both very much appreciate our continued support of their bar and have kindly offered to do this for us. Hope as many as possible can recover from the Ralph headaches from the night before.
Could you all please post your interest so I can give them some numbers by next Thursday
    Cheers Guys
Sounds good to me, dunno about a ride, but will be there for the bbq.

What a day by the sounds, must take a fair bit then to actually get to the 300kmh mark even if ones speedo indicates it.
Next year then you know you can

    Warning for Dangerous Overtaking

Yes folks, me. Got a verbal warning yesterday afternoon for a dangerous overtaking maneuver. The offense took place about three corners north of Te Hana. Now I do know there was a bad fatal accident on the approaching downhill corner from the north end about three years ago, and I know this road well and where I am so I do treat this stretch of road with care.
Thing is, I dont believe it was a dangerous maneuver, and certainly not as dangerous as the State Highway One U turn the cop did behind me and several other cars to catch up with me. I did overtake on a gentle right hand bend. I overtook one car. I had 100 metres visability and there were no yellow centre lines. I was doing 90kms at the time I overtook (the car in front was going so slow that I completed the pass reasonably quickly, even at this speed).
The cop checked out my license, rego, wof, and anything else that needed to be legal. Thing is, I think his maneuver was more dangerous than mine, and I reminded him of the fatality in Bulla Gorge recently.
No tick but ended up in his little black book, whatever that means

Sounds like a poofta cop that hates bikes out to fill his quota.

Like the one that told me he had to lock up his breaks and u-turn quickly to catch me when I was doin 109.

Im sure most peps will agree Im a pretty safe and cautious rider. OK sometimes we get it wrong and it was a little tight, but hell what I call tight is wide open to others (Im expecting some retort on this post ). The traffic was reasonably solid, but not like I was lane splitting or blind corner or anything like that, and I see lots of drivers doing far worse...
