Not that I ride a cruiser or do the Coro loop, but I've noticed the bikes frequenting this ride are more of the sporty variety.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm interested to know why I don't see many threads about the Goldwing club (for example) going for a blast around the Coro.

No don't see much on the cruiser front round there, Though I have seen them now and again just not in big groups.
Would be a good day out, make one slow down and take in some of those magnificent views.

On our loop on Wednesday we saw a couple out there.
They were doing quite well, but the ground clearance they had was shocking.
Id hate to do a loop on a cruiser tbh, some parts of the road are just too tight for bikes like that.

Certain bits are exceedingly tight and twisty. I'd guess you'd be getting the shits even on a 1000cc sprotsbike through those particular bits, let alone a long-wheelbase cruiser. I'd love to try an RG50 or NSR50 through some sections.
Cruisers aren't in complete absence, however, I just don't think so many of them do the whole lot. There's some stunning open road there, but there's a lot of road that just isn't very cruisy. Not so appealing to your average cruiser out for a sunny Sunday ride. I know plenty of cruiser riders that would enjoy doing the whole thing, though. I'm sure there's many floorboard-scrapers on KB who would be the same.

Because cruiser and touring bike riders don't feel the need to skite about how they did the coroloop 3 seconds faster than the last time. To us the coro loop is just another road like all the others in NZ. To sports bike riders it's Philip Island. I rode the coro loop a few weeks back did the 309 and back from Coroglen to Tapu but didn't need to write a post about it??

If you re-read the OP, you'll note that it's not about crusier riders posting regarding the Coro loop, it's about not seeing any crusiers out and about on those roads.

The point of the OP was that no, there are not, in fact, many cruiser riders out on the Coro loop, as a general rule.
