Too many generalisations here me thinks :-) many of us have owned harleys as well as jappa's (and in fact british eyeteye etc), and still prefer Jappa's, BUT that isnt to say we dont like harleys and if I had enough moolah to spare on bikes I would have 5 or six bikes in the garage, one probably a harley :-) but for all the things I want out of a bike a jappa is the best for most of what I want. its comfortable, reliable, handles like a dream, tons of grunt and good looks to boot. yes Ive enjoyed Harleys, but I enjoy Jappa's just as much with a lot less hassle.. in the end its whatever spins your wheels and a Harley / Guzzie / Honda / Suzuki is no more, or no less. they atre all great machines in their own right.

A bit out of my price bracket at $31K, but creative accounting is a wonderful thing.

Looks like it'd be quite the go for those 5,000km weeks around the SI.
hmmm me thinks they have gone abit toooo far with the "emulate a harley" theme... looks like a great cruiser/tourer but The R3 seems to have vanished in there somewhere... still must look for some other shots of one.

Rode one for a weekend two up when we were looking to buy.....not a lot of room for pillion at all...bought the softtail and both love it..each to their own..

Some good points here finally..not all Harley riders are posers although some sure are....

I never understood cruisers until I rode a few and then it made sense..it matches my style of riding..something like an R1 or Gixxer would be wasted on me..I dont ride that fast and prefer to cruise along...

C50 Boulevard..very nice bike indeed and those who own them seem to love them as much as I love my Harley but thats the same with any bike owner I am sure..otherwise why own the bike?????

Everyone rides their bike for their own reason and that's how it should be...I dont want a sportsbike anymore but I do appreciate a beautiful bike riding past regardless of the make, style etc......

I do have one laugh though....sportsbike riders who accuse/imply that Harley riders are trying to be bad ass bikers for wearing black leather yet think its ok to look like someone vomited on their leathers with playdough..the Rossi relica helmet, matching multicolour leathers and boots..pfft are you trying to be a racer??????? just always amused me that one
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead
Do not walk ahead as I may not follow.
Do not walk beside me as the path is narrow
In fact FU*K off and leave me alone

I think its the exactly the same as the poser harley type, the I'm a racer poser. Jappa marketing do it as well as Harley. More wannabes rubbish harleys on here than Harley riders rubbishing wannabes, maybe they are out riding and not surfing.

The 'best' thing to do would be ADD a Cruiser.

It would be no more uncomfortable than the MV or Blade 2-up, Random.

i took a 'sale on behalf' brutale for a demo a while back: it had original tyres on, 6000km and still had 2" wide chicken strips both sides.
the suspension was set up by a drunk and it handled like crap

was that yours? is that why you hate me so?
