    Under a grand
I'm fat enough that an extra cow had to die too!
I rode back to Tauranga in high 20's degree heat and felt fine ventilation wise - perforated panels & clever stuff like that. My textile suit is a BMW 2pc with more vents than an air conditioning factory and the Quasi gear breathed quite well by comparison

As the resident expert at crashing in Quasimoto gear, I would HIGHLY reccommend it... The list of crashes in one single set of leathers which look worse for wear but are still serviceable?

    Manfield Lowside 160 kph
Wanganui, stoppy over the bars into haybales
    Teretonga, 90 kmph lowside
Teretonga, 220 kmph lowside (with roll)
    Taupo, Lowside 110 kmph
    Taupo lowside 120 kmph
    Manfield, Lowside 150 kph
    Manfield, Highside 140 kph
    taupo lowside 70 kph
and the most recent, taupo highside 160 kmph.

10 GOOD crashesd on one set of leathers?? That is MINT!
For the record I have only ever had to resew some seams twice.

Eddie (Gixxer) has an auckland showroom, go to www.bikestore.co.nz and get in touch with him via that to see the great range of Quasi gear, works for a muppet like me, so it will be great for any non muppet!
Boyd hh er Suzuki are my heroes!
The best deals, all the time!

ok went with quasi gear, ended up with the racer 9 sport pants (Yay my first pair of knee sliders woohoo) hope they get to see the tarmac lol and the rapid blue sports jacket, it seems they will zip together so hopefully a near equivelent of a 2pce race suit, and blue 104 sports gloves, now me and my 600cc are partially colour coordinated lol

Thank you all for your input i'll feel alot safer than when im in my codura however they will be used for rain riding!

P.S for those who are interested and maybe looking at gear for themselves total price of $1133.00 which is still cheaper than the bottom end race suits and probably alot better quality!

i feel like i got a good deal

That's the combo I was thinking of too. Although to be honest I'm tempted to go the whole Racer9 hog and get some back in black action

I like the flexibility of my 2piece zip together leather suit. I always wear both, but if I stop in town for a bite or to shop, I can take the jacket off and be comfortable.

I've had mine for years. If price isn't a major issue, go for quality and what you like best. After 15 years or more the difference in the initial price won't seem relevent.
