NOPE !!! Its a spot known as Hawks Crag. There is another bit just (maybe worse) as bad/good.

Sels1 (3rd pic with SVboy on the back)

(they went for a big day ride from the rally!!)

Hawks Crag is a short bit of single lane cut into the cliff on the Buller Gorge. You simply treat it the same as any single lane bridge - of which there is many in that part of the South Island.
(Perhaps you should go tour your Island J.J)
