Bikes on TV1 this sunday

If people were promised by MNZ that all classes would be televised this year, it shows just how fucking usless MNZ are.

But, if it has all been hear say, then shut up about it.

I know that if i was out sponsorship hunting and i had been informed by MNZ that all classes would be showed (im in 125GP) I would definatly add that to my proposal, and it would probably be quite a important deciding factor for a proposal (to the business)

I wonder if anyone has done so, and has now been let down, making them seem like they made fake promises to sponsors.

oh, and 125's are a shit load faster through corners than those whales (600s - 1000s) which should make them more exciting to watch. Really, the extra straight line speed the big bikes have loses its 'wow' factor real quick. How much fun can you have watching a bike in a straight line.

this may be hard to take , but it is fact.

and another thing..."sidecars" suck.

If they show any class other than the 600's and superbikes on TV that's my cue to go and have a dump.

"Sidecars" are among the most entertaining, crowdpleasing, and awe-inspiring vehicles I have ever had the pleasure of watching. IMHO they look better up on two wheels around a corner than any two-wheeler looks doing a wheely, they drift better than a Nissan Skyline, and only they can entertain so thoroughly with freak-show passengers waving and making ridiculous hand-gestures .....no-one specific in mind .....

It's of no consequence to me that the passengers leather-clad arses are so finely displayed either ....

I as a rider was told that 'all classes' would get a slice of TV coverage if we all forgo our prizemoney. Well????

It doesnt piss me off too much, cause I get to see it first hand - but what does yank my chain, is when people tell their sponsors that (if they are fast enough) they will feature on TV. The sponsors take their word for it, and also hand over cash as a result. What do the poor bastards that told their sponsors do when they don't even have their class on TV?? Do their sponsors assume they are liars?? Does this break down everyones trust??

An arrangement was made with competitors, where we recieve no prize money in exchange for TV coverage, if the deal cant be kept then we need to start seeing prize money again.

Well Stuff me Look in the 125 Field at The likes of young Cam Jones he dominating and he showing some skill,

A 125 requires skill to ride fast and to that guy making the comments before I hope you were joking saying that the other classes are slow cause I prefer to differ...........

thats stink if true, & I agree that the other racing on the day was equally as good,& in the case of the 150's & 125's sometimes better,crikey there was some awesome riding there

But seriously, I hope there's going to be some sort of official explanation provided by the TV powers that be as to why a deal was not carried through. Decidedly suckful.

And Kirk keeps putting his body on the line so we get some decent crash action in the 125 class as well!

The dude who highsided out of dipper was also a scary exciting sight, but he was out the next day!
