ULTRACROSS 2 AT ARDMORE THIS SUNDAY 24TH FEBRUARY

Thanks to everyone who has helped at the Wednesday practice rides this
month. Its been a lot hotter and drier than normal but with between 6 and 8
hours of watering (depending on the wind) following 4 hours of bulldozing
and 3 hours powerharrowing for each ride, we have been able to create close
    to perfect riding conditions.

This weekend we have got rain coming through on Saturday which should cool
the ground down. The track has already been bulldozed and powerharrowed
after the Wednesday sessions so if we get some rain on Saturday its looking
like we may not have to water the track on Sunday morning. This means we
will have a rare opportunity to run a totally different track layout for the
Ultracross this Sunday, but I am going to need some guys from 9.00 to help
mark out the new track in the morning.

We will start practice at 10.00 and run through until 11.00 then run two or
three rounds of racing with an A Grade class for 125, 250 and open class Pro
and Support riders, B Grade for Vets, C Grade for Senior Novice riders and
Junior 125s and a separate Junior 85cc class. If we get enough Junior 125s
(more than 10) we will split them into a separate class.

Its supposed to stay cloudy through until Monday so we should be able to run
plenty of races and still have time for split senior and junior practice
sessions in the afternoon through until 4.00.

I want to get more shots for the website and get some more filming done this
weekend. Thanks to Brooke for helping edit the video from the first
Ultracross. I have run off copies and will have them at the track this
Sunday. Thanks also to Richard Furze and Grant Kennedy for helping with
track watering on Wednesdays, Simone Harrison for splitting the classes,
Kyra, Steve Moffat, Simone Dudley, Natasha, Ewan Small, Brooke and Grant for
flagmarshalling as well as Rosie, Suzanne and Rob.

Check the raceline 092680886 for updates on the weather and track
    conditions.

    See you Sunday
