Wow, just when I think you can't be anymore of a jerk, you go and outdo yourself. I realise what you are trying to achieve, and I think you will find that all motorcyclists on this site want to live and ride for as long as possible. So there is nothing wrong with your message, in fact it is to be commended. Yet still people attack what you post. Wonder why? Might have something to do with the tactless delivery. You might think it's great for shock value. You might think that people are living in denial. Well I've got an answer for you, one you might not like. We know we are mortal, we know that people die on bikes. We know it first hand. We don't need some dipshit getting up on his soapbox about it and coming across like a jerk to tell us that we can improve our chances of survival. We know that. We don't all copy what we see on youtube, despite pulling the odd wheelie or whatever. In fact if I remember correctly motorbikes wheelied before youtube was even around. A lot of us might have gotten into bikes because of people like Evel Kinevel (sp?). Here was a guy who glorified risking life and limb on a motorcycle. Do you have a campaign against him.

Morons. Attending a service for a guy killed on a motorcycle and stunting in the parking lot. That's just bad taste.

I am serious. I'm glad these dicks managed to take themselves out. Now I won't be the one to be collected by one of them when out riding myself. (or any other innocent road user for that matter)

And I should care why that they are dead after doing something they voluntarily chose to do?

Nice to see them having so much fun on their bikes doing what they loved!

Yeah, like the family of the deceased really wanted stunting motorcycles in their face while burying someone lost from a motorcycle accident.

Kind of like turning up revving a chainsaw at a funeral of someone that was killed in a chainsaw accident.

With the exception of the worst of the worst types of people (Child molesters etc), I think anyone who can say that they are glad someone died doing something (even if it is stupid), is pathetic.

Lets say one of your kids (or your mum if you dont have kids), did something silly in a car - (Like driving too fast for the conditions just to get somewhere on time) - they end up face first in a power pole dead. Would you be OK with that? Would you be happy if others were?

Stupid as the stunters were - they are people with families and you comments pissed me off. Thats why Im red repping you - dipshit

Trouble is, the more sugar you sprinkle on the delivery, the less notice people take of it.

If you want to make a small change you have to make a big noise.

But do you have to look like a cock while you're doing it?

To be honest, I don't care what I look like doing it. If it gets people taking about the issue and questioning their own attitudes and actions I'll happily pay the price of looking like a cock.

But then all the messages get blocked in by "tosspot post" filter

I appreciate that, but when was the last time anyone listened to a politician (or anyone) that was quite obviously a 'cock'?

That's the thing, it doesn't though. Instead of people taking the issue seriously and discussing it, the message gets lost by your bullshit postings and people talk about that instead. Can you not even slightly pick up the vibe on the forums regarding yours and dipshits posts? No one in those threads are 'seeing the light', they are just 'smelling the bullshit'.

    Very funny.

    D O R K S

America has big issues with stunters (should be spelt cun......) on public roads. Obvious why after seeing that - he was very lucky to not get run over.

One state has or is passing a law with big fines/jail time for stunt actions.

Goes to show you're not only one armed but also one eyed.

Go back and read through some of the threads and see how many people have made comments along the lines of "I'm reassessing the manner in which I ride on the road". There has been a very real (if slight) change on Kiwibiker over the last two or three months.
