    DR big

Looking at a DRbig 750 as a replacement for the f650. Opinions any body, or experiences. How do they go as a tourer? any problems getting parts? how reliable are they? what sort of mileage do you get from a tank(40l). Any advice?

Are you looking at the one on Tardme? Sorry, have no useful information -- but DAMN what a cool concept Not a hell of a lot of horsepower from the specs, but it looks like you get it all in any gear and at any RPM. Something I want to own very much

Yep, seen the one on trademe as well, awesome looking bike.
Dunno about parts or reliability (should be good though), but you'd get a long way on 40ltrs of gas!
Motorcyclespecs.co.za say it gets around 17km-lt.

There was a guy who did a few Chatto Creek 1000 milers on one. He didnt seem to have any problems getting back (well) under time.

    It's relisted, http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...328913.htm?p=1

I think it's already been relisted once before as well. It's not a bidding sort of auction, just a normal classified type thing, so you might be able to get it a few dollars under the $3750 he's asking.
