Thumbs down Westpac: Piss poor attempt

From the biking community to get of there asses to come along to this once a year fund raising event for a very worth while cause.
I guess we are just lucky that the pilots of said helicopers dont say they can't come because it is raining or it was to earlyfor them to get up
And for the record there was no rain.

And as for the person that put a bloody great post up about this and didn't even turn up well now i really do think your a

    500 in attendance this year

And last but not least thanks to the organizer this as another great event you can all go and have and give yourselfs a pat on your backs. We will be there next rain hail and early.

I was there with a few others, got me badge n' all.

Was a shame to see such lack of KB'ers but it was a generally good ride all round. Loved going through the city without any traffic, that was wicked.

And yup.. no rain, just raining in West Auckland.

I buggered off before the prizes were announced, but congratulations to Crashe!

    500? That is pretty pathetic.

Rhino and I were there at 6 o'clock to help set up. I sold badges and t-shirts and Rhino helped marshall!! Yes, the numbers were a tad disappointing but huge ups from Ulysses to everyone for raising $8,000 for the Auckland Rescue Helicopter.

$8K with 500 bikes?... Avg $16 per head...ok whos not giving?
Makes ya wonder if the $10k last year with 1500 bikes was bullshit.
Working on the same Avg, last year should hae been around $24K. Something dont add up, anyway, good effort to those who turned out for it.

Cheers for organising the westside things Murray, good to see the Westies representing

As for everyone elsee who didnt come because of rain, Ive been checking the rain radar since yesterday, the forecasts say that drizzle was going to be ending during the day.

I turned up in jeans. I was sweet all day. So much for rain eh?
