Always easier to pull if you truly don't care I'm afraid.

Well for a long time I had severe acne so most girls wouldn't touch me with a 50ft poll. But now I'm a babe so all good.

Now that I've got a girlfriend my anxiety towards wimmin has been shot down. I know now I could have anyone I wanted so long as I worked for it (will have to start working out for example). Hell, I'm the biker that takes the girl away at the end of chick flicks

But good that somebody enjoy it! I chose to become cynical instead I suppose.
You and Jrandom should get married...you're perfect for each other!

The grin on his face was priceless and he was SO impressed. (OK, I cheated, but HE didn't know that!) My next question was, "Will you take me for a ride sometime?" He turned out to be an a***ole, and I eventually met my dream man who rides a much better bike So there's a happy ending for everyone
Yep, that's how I broke the ice with 007XY. He was out visiting a work mate of mine when I went to see her in her office. When I got back to my office, I texted her that I thought he was pretty darn cute. Went back 20 minutes later to her office to get some paperwork, and he grinned at me while he stepped outside : you know it, the bitch had shown him the text.

So, I grabbed the bull by the horns, and as he was about to leave on his Speed Triple (), I told him I wouldn't mind going for a ride if I had a helmet

That was almost 6 years ago, and we've been married for a year now...

So McSteamy, go get her mate...there is nothing more exciting than discovering that potential perfect mate...Enjoy!

Well, trust me - I've tried the acne thing as well. And yes, it sucks - but I think it's a good way to avoid vanity!

However, it became irrelevant when I realised I wanted a woman - not a girl - in my life. When you go looking for someone who places mind over matter then the acne thing really is a small thing!

I do consider myself openminded - but FFS I could never even consider Auckland!

I've spent the last couple of years going through cynicism and coming out the other side.

I'd now be perfectly happy to throw myself headfirst at a silly crush with no particular expectation of anything.

I would, of course, be sure to do it properly, with anonymous flower deliveries, midnight serenading and the hiring of professional writers to compose verses in the lady's honour, etc.

Or you could just ask if she'd like to go for a ride on the back of your bike sometime, and take her to lunch while out there.
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

You'd be amazed (well, perhaps you wouldn't) at how many women out there are absolutely oblivious to a gentleman's romantic intentions, regardless of such goings-out-of-one's-way to show her favour.

    "Uhhh, he's just a friend!"

    Et cetera.

Unfortunately, the gentle art of empathy and subtlety in human interaction seems to be fading in our society. Dealing with the Typical Kiwi Chick (tm), it almost feels as though one must revert to bashing her over the head and dragging her back to one's cave if one is to get anywhere.

I deplore this decline in civility, but I don't really know how to fix it.

Unbelievable eh...personally I've always simply stated my intentions to them up front(usually theirs )...used to work a treat when I was single
