Look Ma, no keyring!
I had one of those leather (promotional) fobs on my previous bike and it used to flop about in the wind. (The fob, that is,) and it wore the paint off the triple clamp.
On this bike I have a mini version of a dog clip on my keyring and put my ignition key on that. When riding I unhook it and put the keyring in my pocket.
I have a miniature LED torch on the keyring too. Very useful!

Damn, i aint seen one of those since my parents old one... They decided it was too old school and ghey, about 15 years ago!
As for me, i have my bike ignition/gas (one key), front door key, and gate key for work on a single ring, and a mini belt-loop-sized caribiner on my bike at all times. They tuck nicely in front of the bars when in the ignition, but if i leave them resting across the bar they rattle like hell with the revs.
Got sick of heading out and coming home to find the flat locked and having to dig for a key, or worse ending up waiting outside for someone else to get home and let me in! This way i cant forget the three keys i might need and am most likely to forget![]()
IT'S PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!!!
Do the peanut butter jelly, peanut butter jelly, peanut butter jelly with a baseball bat!

I got one when I got my F100 - it's an Alexandra block-laying firms, has a five digit 'phone number - THAT'S how old it is.![]()

I stole my bike, so I've still got the screwdriver lodged in between the clip-ons. Makes a good place to hang other keyrings though.

I keep telling you lot that its not good for screwdrivers to do that. And at the cost of new screwdrivers if you lose that one...good greif
I found one of those old style leather key pouches yesterday at a bag store in town and the wanted $30!!!!! for it. Someone is still buying them obviously and no it wasnt me.![]()
I wouldn’t be broke if the voices in my head paid rent
I use a rubbery thing that came with an old issue of 'Fast Bikes' magazine. It says 'Fast Bikes' on it. I like it because my bike's not especially fast, and it reminds me not to ride like a prat. Doesn't work.
I've got the hard plastic tag that came from Red Baron when I bought my bike plus a couple of house keys. The triple clamp's already pretty scratched up so I don't really care about that, but the rattling and jingling of the keys annoys the hell out of me so I wrapped some elastic around them. Stops scratching as a side benefit, but mainly stops the jingling.
Pitty it's an orange tag and green elastic... it doesn't really go with the R1's paint scheme...

Mine's one of those big rubber letters with my name on it. I seldom see my name on any of those novelty thingies (pens, mugs, door tags....) so when i found it as a keyring I just hadda have it! And being rubber, no scratches on lovely paintwork, so ideal for the bike.
So when are the KIWIBIKER key rings coming out then?![]()
UM er --wots a key?? --I have tether switch joined to glove--does that count?
