V Twins back to inlines!! Who has gone back?

I have read several times that once a V-Twin convert you never go back to an in-line bike. This seems to be a common theme, I would be interested to know how many KB'rs have " gone back", not too many I would suspect. I am not knocking in line bikes they are great, but they are not Vtwins are they?

I'll borrow the missus 750 IL4 from time to time and although it's quicker I just don't like the way the power is delivered.

They lack that je ne sais quoi......

i'll go back to a V-4, i.e. new aprilia (once they are 10 years old and I can afford one) IL4 would be fine if they tuned it for REAL midrange, from the ground up, not a set of cams in a superbike engine.

Mid range in a 4 can be found by connecting your wrist to your left foot.

I'm on a IL4 at the moment, do miss the v-twin , I'd say next bike will be a twin again.

Triples - there's the answer - a cross between a twin and an IL4. Very addictive they are too.

Yep, guilty as charged, SV650 to GSX-R600. But wasnt so much the engine that attracted me (tho the ponies are nice), but more the handling of a pure sports bike. Oh and the SV is for SALE (front forks received the RT treatment), PM me if interested

At the moment I think I would struggle to go back to an inline 4,

    But,

If the right bike at the right time came up, who knows

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round
