    For real?

If you can pay what they're asking just go a little further and get brand new.

they should be starting the bidding at around $8,200 the second they ride it off the showroom floor.

    Both are dreaming.

But yeah, I'd go for the 919cc instead of the 249cc too.

Even if you're on your learners, the 900 is the better buy.

Dealers preying on those who don't know any better; learners.

A 900 ccm won't do you much good while on your 6L and 6R though.

But yeah, the market is quite FUBAR.

Much good? Would do him a world of good. Just borrow a two fiddy from a bike shop when it comes to licence time, worked for me

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Looking at Hornets again, dreaming, I reread the description of the 250 in my original post:

They're as bad as Red Baron! They may not all be 'late' models, but they're still all the same!
