You do need to go to the Doc. It has gone on too long and if your electrolyte balance (which will be bad right now) gets really bad you can have all sorts of electrical issues with your heart.

lol... my brother-in-law said that this morning 'lost a bit of weight suz?'... cheeky shit!!

Guess its a good detox in some ways. Fighting the caffeine withdrawl sucks.

Wont eat anything, just presumed that if I could eat something n keep it down it might've helped.
Listen to Jim2 mate...get yourself to the doctor...

Food poisoning should not take this long. Masking the problem with Gastrolyte and not eating could be hiding something else...

Try being hit with campylobacter in a factory in the middle of Dongguan - not a single Western-style toilet within about a 10km radius.

Good gurl, better than ending up in hospital on a drip to replace fluids and other important body things.

the mobil I got it from had a fridge that wasnt working, I think they must've moved the stock from the broken fridge unit to the one next to it, expiry date on it was 23rd march so figured it was ok, obviously not.
When you get better, write them an outraged letter, they'll give you free stuff. I got $50 of free Edmonds food when I was poisoned by one of their pies, I just wrote them a letter, no evidence needed, and they sent me a voucher for free stuff.

I can sympathise, I had a dose of a tummy bug last week (caught off the kids) puking and squirting at the other end. Youngest got it first, then the eldest and finally me. Mine was over the worst in the first 14hrs, rough when you're chucking and squirting at the other end for hours and hours. You just want to rest and all your body wants to do is purge.

Good luck with the doc's, I had a dose of camphobactor years ago - needed to go to the doc's when it was still going for days (lasted about a week in all). I think I got stuck on anti-biotics in the end. Some bugs don't go away and lie dormant, that's why it's good to go to the docs so they can send a sample for testing to make sure you're on the right treatment.

Drink lots of rehydrating stuff, supermarket sells a powder (Horleys Rehydrate) - should be near the vitamins or drinks section, which is more palatable than gastrolyte. It's about 15bucks or there abouts for a good sized tub, makes heaps and comes in different flavours.

Once you want to start eating again, cook up some apples with the core and skin and then sieve. Mothers and grannies swear by it to get your gut back in order after a tummy bug. I think it's the pectin in the seeds and skin that helps your tummy recover.

    Get better soon!

Did you go see a doctor at any time during the 2 weeks?

You have to be fucking hungry to eat something from a gas station pie warmer. Most of them don't even have the thermostat set high enough and food can sit there all day long just waiting for some poor unsuspecting person to buy it,then

Yeah... I tried going to work this morning too... lasted a few hours then it all came back again... Luckily the delivery I was making when it came back was to my parents workshop so hung out in their loo for awhile.

Have a major tournament coming up, have to drive to wellington on thursday morning for 3 days of intense competition hence wanting/needing to 'get better quick' as I have to perform, training tonight will be interesting lol.

I think I've still got a fever?... my cheeks (face!) are rosy red & last night I was really cold yet Fireball said she could feel the heat coming off my body.

Nope. I couldn't be arsed with the hassle and expense of going back over to Hong Kong and finding a doctor who had a better-than-50% chance of doing something other than making me worse.
