Do I write a letter to Mobil or to Quality Bakers?

    Edit: or both

Given that you were overseas at the time, I can understand your misgivings.
But if you had been in NZ (and able to visit your normal GP) please tell me you wouldn't go for two weeks with vomiting and all that fun stuff without medical help?

Reason for my comment: self diagnosis is just as dangerous as underestimating an illness. You know of my take on medication, however I never took chances whenever a temperature, rash or vomiting was present for longer than 12 hours.

Those hole in the floor toilets are the best for that sort of thing. You can lie in the bathroom with your arse in the general direction, pop a valium that you bought over the counter from the dodgy chemist and

I went straight to the GP for tests when I got back to NZ, and yes, of course I would usually be at the doctor pronto.

I was even more worried later on that year when I got sick in Singapore, y'know. I had an odd mozzie bite at Changi when I was working in the secure runways area, and within 24 hours I was prostrate in my hotel room with agonisingly sore muscles and a very high fever.

It more or less came right by the time I got home three days later, so I didn't bother going to the doctor, but I suspect it was dengue - apparently the majority of cases in Singapore and Malaysia don't get reported because they follow the precise pattern of symptoms I had, and people therefore don't bother to get medical attention.

Ah yes, the good ol' Dengue fever! Used to thrive in New Caledonia and they still have to fumigate every summer to suppress the mozzies' population.
I was lucky enough never to get it. Mozzies don't bite me, I think they're not into nasty pieces of work like me

Both, though if it is campy it's notifiable and the Gas Station needs to sort themselves out. Their food handling obviously isn't up to scratch.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

By the time they ask for one you'll probably be ready.

Responsibility is held by the merchant of the goods (i.e. those that sold 'em to you). If someone supplied them with bad/faulty goods then they hold their supplier responsible.

Basically - it is the company you paid that you get compensation from.
$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details
