Thinking about it logically... there is a tiny weeny chance that it was not the 'same' bike. But that would make this entire thread even more pointless than it already is so i'm not going to think about that.

Oh the rider was a ginger too...

    That's where you went wrong.
It's quicker to get there via SH17 and Mercari Way, even on my Crap-o-cycle.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I just want to know what the shortcut was!.. it certainly was not the speed of his riding'.

..bear in mind I was using a satnav which should have taken me quickest route to mall. How the smeg did he get there so quick!

Route that I took - glenfield road, over new mway followed all the way past stadium then right onto that big main road thingy to turn left into mall.

This guy turned right towards wairau park..

th reason it took you so long lookin a the route you took is were you finish is up a fuckin hill in the middle of the bush road bike would have had a hell of a time getting up through the bush you should have turned right at the first round about on aotea valley road. then you wouldnt of had to have washed all the mud of when you got home hope this helps

i have edited your map for you PS may need to up grade your navman

I've seen it around around albany area before. He probably went to Tristram Ave then jumped on the northern and gunned it up to Greville Rd or Onewa Valley Rd.
Where as I beleive your took Albany Highway all the way up to the Stadium.
