Er - nah, not wholier (sic) than thou brigade (who hasn't grossly exceeded the speed limit at some point?), more of a "time & place" brigade. Re-read the post,.
Nice troll BTW, but ya picked up on the wrong response cos I was stating the bleedin obvious, not 'soapboxing'?
Better luck next time...
It's back..."Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."
And now we know that you know that they knew what we know when you knew it and know now that when you knew it, that it was known!
So now we all now know what we knew, and being in the know, we can go back to the status quo that we all knew?![]()
"I like to ride anyplace, anywhere, any time, any way!"![]()
Hmm... dunno about airborne, but I'm fairly sure I could have Betty's suspension getting quite light and twitchy over the bridge crest at about 200kph.
Not that I'd ever do such a thing, of course.
Not too many coppers around the bridge this time of night, y'reckon?
Or I could just try it on the Snail. 50kg lighter and a few more ponies... move over, Wright brothers.
kiwibiker is full of love, an disrespect.

I found by selling my cefiro and not riding my bike i no longer get tickets.
But this makes me depressed and psychotic, so i do not think i will continue this new way of thinking.
But my license looks fantastic

Have you met SkidMark? You'd get along famously
Ok ok so I'm taking the piss too. It's not personal but it sems to be what we do to have fun. People having a splash at you is just like fag jokes and sounding off. Those that are the most indignant and righteous are prolly the worst offenders![]()
Just so you know, I read this thread last night, and wrote for about half an hour, a post for which I received an infraction for and was deleted, most probably because of my comments about kittywhork, probably best because I was angry when I wrote them
Maybe my bike only does 200 kitty, but that does not make it 'not a real bike'
Are you aware that it gets there faster than your gsxr ?
Or is top speed all that matters.. but wait you cant use it on the road.. oh.
Have you ridden an rs ? ive ridden a gsxr..
Your post was totally unfounded, just for the sake of being holier than thou
Confident the aprilia rsv4, IS the one
Things you need:
radar detector, license plate tucked away where it cant be seen, etc.......
Never speed by a cop when:
1. Coming up to a congested area or an area with lots of traffic lights that can slow you down
2. Riding on an unfamiliar road (all too easy to hit a dead end or get lost which slows you down)
3. Riding a country road with no exits or connecting roads (easy to get pinned down)
4. Riding in an area where speed is enforced by aircrat (rotary wing or prop driven).....migth not be an issue in NZ.
5. Riding in an area known for bad-ass cops in general. (like areas of Virginia and NC)
6. Riding in an area where the police have Corvettes, Mustangs, Chargers, etc.....Again, might not be an issue in NZ
My general rule is: Dont run from the police. If you can see them behind you with the lights on then just pull over. Dont get into any high speed chases or anything. Its just not worth it. Puts too many lives at risk and its a felony.
Fact: Nearly everyone speeds from time to time. If and when you should speed.....at least TRY to mitigate the risks in every way you can.

Don't ever argue with an idiot.... they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Camera's on bridge are unlikely to have the resolution to pick the plate off a speeding bikehttp://www.metservice.co.nz/default/..._auck_tristram
I posted before but im gonna post again. In my opinion RS250s are totally awesome and GSXR600's are just "another bike." Who the hell needs to do over 200k's anyway? 200k is cool enough in my opinion. Bad luck you got snapped, if i had an RS250 and lived up there im almost 100% sure I would go flying over the habour bridge with the taps wide open as well at night. It's just the normal thing young guys do haha. I wouldnt be too worried about these boring negative people winging about how stupid it was, just look at your rep, you have had HEAPS of positive rep about this thread from the good guys.![]()
