What a bugger you guys missed, we didn't end up leaving till after 11 because Jon forgot to put his new rego sticker on, so had to go back home and get it. We would have waited for you if you had sent me a text.....
Went down 50 as far as Tiko, a lovely ride, hardly any traffic, then cut through to Waipawa, and off to Patangata, where we ate and drank and talked shite....then headed home up Middle Rd. Heaps of bikes at the Patangata.
Fantastic weather, awesome roads and great company. Aye, its a hard life!

You took the Katana didn't you? Please say you did.

Must of missed you, as I got the urge to take the 600 out for a rather spirited blast. Left here at 11, down to Tiko, across to Ypawa, up Te Onepu Rd, back home on HW50, changed, jumped in the ute, took the missus to the Chook & filly for lunch all by 12.

Nah I didn't Jim. I woosed out..it is slightly wider and taller than the Ninja and I'm so afraid I'll drop it... took the Mighty Spada, I am having so much fun riding Zac's bike, it is building confidence in leaps and bounds and much more fun than a weasel down your trousers

You wouldn't have wanted to come with us then, I'm a tad slow for you.....it was mostly pootling speeds with the odd fang thrown in, on closed roads of course

Got a chance to get the bike out for a blast yesterday morning so went for a brisk ride up to Puketiritiri. ( Sorry 'bout the spelling ) Very enjoyable ride. When the Bay turns on the weather it sure turns on the weather eh. Finally got a chance to give the new Avon Storms a good test and am pleased to say they certainly seemed up to the job. What an awesome road.

Seems I have a bit of help with the pre ride safety checks these days........

Wont be long now eh? Might be an idea to start shopping for her bike now. Do you think a B King is a bit much to start with? I don't mind running it for her......
