I'll check for the meeting/ride updates from the hotel on the 3rd. to see if the meeting is a go or not; and we'll be checking for the address of the meeting location then. In all fairness, I did a similar post on the Auckland North forum... so maybe we can hit two parties at the same time... too bad you guys don't meet up at the same place afterwards.

Staying in Auckland for a night then it's off on adventure... finally making our way to Nelson by the 9th to pick up our hired bike for a 10 day tour of the south island before heading home.

Sorry Darren, Dorkland is Auckland ... about 3 hours ish traffic and tourist stops dependant

Yeah, I got the Dorkland reference the first time
Three hours is probably a bit too far us for the first night in NZ... but thanks for the invite. I can mingle with the Cafe Latte Sipping folk as long as I have my bourbon and Coke.
