You pay credit cards off??!!!!!!! If I did that the bank would go belly-up, unemployment would rise and a worldwide recession would set in. You people have to start thinking of the big picture an think of the consequences of your actions.Dont be so selfish, save the world and you'll feel good. To prove my point I paid some ofF the card a month or two ago and look whats happened in the U.S.A.

You realise that banks make money from credit cards in more ways than just interest right? Every time you spend on it they're making money.

Why would it, banks make money off deposits too, plus...you're low risk, probably at least paying an annual fee and chances are you're still doing transactions (even if it is your money).

I've paid something like $4 in interest over the last few years. Bless those 55 days between the purchase and interest.

Paid mine off yesterday. I had a whopping $13 on it.

Actually, the net effect on you is positive when you consider the ability chargeback and dispute transactions performed on a credit card, add that to loyalty programmes and interest free credit and credit cards can be an excellent tool for managing finances.
