You pay credit cards off??!!!!!!! If I did that the bank would go belly-up, unemployment would rise and a worldwide recession would set in. Why would it, banks make money off deposits too, plus...you're low risk, probably at least paying an annual fee and chances are you're still doing transactions (even if it is your money).

Actually, the net effect on you is positive when you consider the ability chargeback and dispute transactions performed on a credit card, add that to loyalty programmes and interest free credit and credit cards can be an excellent tool for managing finances.
