Back in the day I used to visit my favourite bike shop almost daily. The guy put up with me. I was just a dumb kid who didn't have any money.

Then one day I turned up on a brand new bike, not bought from him. Man was he pissed. Called me a wanker and walked off in disgust.

Ohhhh, I bet he was! That was cruel of you... Funny but cruel. Did you ever test ride any of his shop's bikes before and indeed after that?
Who, me? I just wander from thread to thread.

If you've seen any of my bikes in the past, you'd know.

I once headbutted my VFR out of anger, without a helmet.

Shout you a coffee? I'm a jobless student, think I can afford it?

Doing Auto Refinishing at N block, Monday-Wednesday. My VFR is normally parked along Cuba Street.

Haha. Since I was working for a while at Maidstone Yamaha, pretty much have to buy the next bike off them. Quite like the look of those Yamaha Jogs

Grrrrr baby, is it wrong to fall in love with more than 1 bike???!!!

This baby rides like a dream, has an aftermarket pipe so makes the Grrrr sounds that I like and has no problems with the get up and go, all the while being one of the most confortable bikes that I have ever had the pleasure of riding.
Took it over the hill from Lyttelton to Sumner and this bike corners like nothing i have ridden before and was just so easy....might just have to pop out there and take her for another spin in the weekend

a/ No of course not!!! It's the buying of more than one that usually causes the problems...

b/ Thanks for confirming my suspicions! Guess you'll just have to ride the Suz and the Duc a few more times each to really make up your mind...?

That's the sort of dumb thing I'd do, you know that?

Who needs anger management if you've got a bike? I thought bikes WERE anger management anyway.

Sounds like a terrible predicament. Of course you'll have to take it out again...

    And the others again...

    And again...

    And possibly again.

Plus, what's wrong with owning more than one bike?

LOL!!! But of course! Now if we could just get some of the more "excitable" KB'rs out on their bikes instead of squabbling in here...

And if one can afford more than one bike and the other half doesn't mind, then go for it! I've probably got the latter, it's the former I'm sadly lacking in...

Absolutely nothing, apart from the fact that you can only ride one at a time

Deep in the distant past (before kids) when I had two bikes I would often be out riding the other - and wishing I was on the Ducati

Squabbling is fun though... And we do it so well!

Ah well... Just keep saving... Maybe drop hints for a birthday/Christmas present?

Haha, don't we all... But the good thing about two is if you crash one or it needs repairs you have the other!
