And a good case it is... on the other hand - those that want to head straight to the pub could stop in there... enjoy the view, the ladies finish up before the bikes arrive and we are ALL happy.

What about STARTING in Albany, doing the ride backwards, and ending up at Westgate instead then?

A bit of variety for the ride, and Miss ques isn't a bad bar... it'd be just as far out of the way for everyone I guess although it does affect logistics...

We might even ride with the sun to our backs!

Is the whole ATNR now moving to the Speights Ale house, or is it just the Busa Petes?

Nope, it's the traditional Takapuna thursday nights for school kids and students, in a new venue. Thumbs down.

I dont think the beer is all that cheap either, just average prices for a pint.

I found the Speights ale house to be over-priced for bottled stuff.

The guy that runs Africa's a good sort, a quiet word in his ear would no doubt improve the situation.
