Have toKarma ... Justice catches up eventually !!

very tempting eh!

Got to sit on a 1200 Bandit in the weekend ...... and I couldn't even get it upright off the bloody stand!!It was very heavy for me and I can imagine stopping on one and being slighty unbalanced and doing the `noobdropthebike' thing. Very nice bike though
Think I will be going for an adventure type bike....like the Buell Ulysses I sat on in the weekend- I could stand that up easily even though it was a little tall (fixed by the lower seat option) and it would be good for a snort around the paddocks too!!![]()
Roll on full![]()
Oh dear, another sad little post from the man who thinks sarcasm is wit.
The seat height was fine on the Bandit-it was just too heavy even to get off the stand and I am no light weight chick!!
And...you can't snort a Bandit around the farm!! There is something about dirt and gravel that appeals to meIt's probably because my son has been skidding around the paddocks on his CRF lately. Looks like fun (and I can't reach the ground on his bike...I tried when he wasn't home
)
Nah-seriously I would like something to pack up for the weekend and be able to go over gravel or farm track if I had too without compromising the road riding side of it too much.....don't want much do I???![]()

Yeah I am thinking that way-no it doesnt have to be new but newish would be nice. ( I will have to sell one of the kids for the Buell though)Most of the adventure bikes seem to have higher seats so some mods would be on the cards.
Got any suggestions Sarge??![]()

Yea its quite the heavy weight ,my 600 comes in at about 210kg i think ,All the 600's weight the exact same from 98 onwards (all they do each year is bring out a different colour scheme )
Thats alot for a lil 600 to pull along ,but it seems to do fairly well you just have to use the gears which is why i like the 600's,but the current tyres have alot to be desired (michellin sport front and road rear).
But as ive said im looking at a much more updated bike at the moment ,possiblely a GSR600 or a street triple (cant find a street triple to test tho ,they are all dry bikes as far as ive seen).the sv650's are going bloody cheap lately too which ahs got me interested in turning to vee twins

That makes it 12KG (dry) heavier than my bike so generating heat into your tyres should'nt be that issue weight wise but balance wise might be a different issue, I have a bit of a problem getting heat into the front tyre on my bike hence the tyre wear so low on the front.
