Think I will be going for an adventure type bike....like the Buell Ulysses I sat on in the weekend- I could stand that up easily even though it was a little tall (fixed by the lower seat option) and it would be good for a snort around the paddocks too!!

    Roll on full
bugger being built close to the ground girl .. no probs here

ahhhhhh ummmmmmm yup you are hehe

And...you can't snort a Bandit around the farm!! There is something about dirt and gravel that appeals to me It's probably because my son has been skidding around the paddocks on his CRF lately. Looks like fun (and I can't reach the ground on his bike...I tried when he wasn't home
Nah-seriously I would like something to pack up for the weekend and be able to go over gravel or farm track if I had too without compromising the road riding side of it too much.....don't want much do I???

definately sounds like you want an adventure bike .. pm tri boy and his partner Kanny .. Kanny has just started riding late last yr & has an adventure bike. Sels1 also has a trimuph tiger so be easy to catch up with him & have a chat on his bike ..

besides that girl once you get full you will have fun test riding .. I have a list of what I definately want out of my next bike and it certainly helps not being in a rush to get a new one either ...

Thanks babe-will do when it gets a little closer to trying them time. OMG I couldn't believe the weight in that bandit though-admittedly I didn't try my very hardest in case it came up the then kept going over the other side to knock over the other bikes ...not a good look!!

It is very exciting looking around though eh!!....like kids in a lollyshop really.

Oh dear, another sad little post from the man who thinks sarcasm is wit.

DR650's can be lowered (with genuine suzy bits). Cheap too.

Hey Sarge, You can find out the exact weight of your bike by going to that fertilizer factory at the end of that little road opposite the old horizons depot on Webber road. They have really accurate scales. My 750 weight 220 KG's with half a tank of gas

Oh yes, I'm testing a Z14 tomorrow for a test write up wish the tyres luck

    ....then i'll have a beer....

PS: if you see a large fireball to the east....ring someone? ta

Oh oh oh, where ya goin'? where ya goin'? Be great to take the camera out and get some photo's..

That would be quite interesting to see how much bullshit the these bike makers talk when quoting dry weights, we should all turn up on our bikes and take bets on who's closest to spec.

Are you refering to the older 955 or the new 1050? Apparently the 1050 is a sweet ride, look pretty nice too.
