Why would a dwarf on a Harley need a shrink? His life is complete.

Today I started at a new psychiatrist/counsellor, to try to get rid of the voices urging me to kill....
And at the end of the session he asked me what bike I ride, because I was wearing all my gear, and it turns out he's just got his Restricted.

We chatted bike-related bullshit after the head-shrinking-session was finished and it was very interesting.
He has got a little Scorpio 225, and when he gets his full license in a few months he's going to buy a V-Strom kitted out for touring.

Cool! I thought all health-professionals were really anti-riding because it's dangerous.
It's going to be a little weird running into a guy who knows all my secrets at bike rallies.
    Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahaha!!!!!!

Dude, its psychologist. Might want to change it quick before anyone else realises...

Hehe, I was thinking the same thing.

Not so good if you see a psychiatrist on a regular basis... unless you do like electro shock and psycho-active drugs.

I'm feeling left out here - I have got neither
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Nah mate, I work in mental health and if your having councelling(sp) then there is no way your seeing a Psychiatrist. They are there to do mental state examinations and prescribe treatment (meds etc) for a mental illness. Where as a psychologist does the counselling

Steam, as part of your treatment, does your psychiatrist at the commune ask you to strip before taking your temperature?

Good thing I'm already in the care of a gubbermint instintuction! I'm not allowed to be in the presence of kids, but they needed someone in front of them to tell them about the facts o'life, just gotta remember to take the little pills before the voices tell me to do stuffs I can't remembers later on!

I luvvies their little faces when I tell them about faeces and slaughterhouses and torture methods and ways to conceal contrabrands and ....

Erm... normal service will return as soon as I can get the crayons I left out in the sun eek!

What language do your voices use?

Mine are in German and I cant understand it, so of course, I don't listen!

I wear earplugs so that other Germans passing don't hear them and think it came from me.

Can your shrink hear them too?

Do you both wear your riding gear for the sessions now?

Good luck Steam, get well soon. Cheers John.

Yep, psychotherapy is what psychologists do... Psychiatrists are more into ECT

I am a psychologist in training and believe me psychiatrists are in a league of their own and really have disdain for us. Bloody intellectual snobs, not that I am bitter at all.

We do all they work and they get the scripts!!

Hi Steam - I don't want to make you paranoid or anything but...
I am guessing that was you today riding over the rail track heading towards varsity about 12.30?? or is there somebody else has a black weird combat type dirt bike. Anyway about 50 meters behind you was a learner rider...hmmmm.... sort of appeared to be following you, and your new counceller rides, hmmm.... Not that I am jumping to conclusions !
