Boxers and thin polyprop shirt in summer. I have one of those zip out thermal liner/ armour inserts so I can say warm when I have to.
The jeans get a bit cold in winter so I'm not above mixing leather and my cordura pants.

Cycle gear for me. Silk in summer and merino's in winter. Bike pants are the greatest. The chamois insert keeps your but comfortable and your breeding gear cool and dry.

T-shirt and boxes in the winter and a good jacket over the top in the winter.
Too much of everything adds up to just enough

A good item for summer is an "Active cool" top made by Altica (available at Kathmandu).
It looks like a lycra top (good for showing off my mono-ab) but diffuses moisture away from the skin to keep temperature down and skin dry.

No. You are confused with gixer riders when they meet a corner.

I'm a big one for wearing a pair of knockabout shorts under my pants. Stop somewhere for long in black pants if the sun is out, FOOK i'm glad i've got those shorts underneath There's a few photo's floating around of me with my pants round my ankles (quite literally). I dont care if i look like a special needs fool walking round with my pants collected on my boots , you're roasting alive

Lightweight (mesh type fabric) footy jersey underneath my jacket. Nice and breathable, ideal.

Always - without exception - my best knickers, a matching bra, and a tight little t-shirt (my BADD tee is perfect). In winter, polyprops (purple and blue stripes, not sexy, but still matching).

On a bike's probably the only time I wear matching underwear. Well, except for a hot date
